However, if in case, you are not in a situation where you cannot afford the expenditure, you will have to demonstrate your difficulty to have the fees reduced.

The GRE is strictly time based and fixed time is stipulated for each section. While taking the test, you will be required to spend 45 minutes on an issue based essay, 30 minutes on an argument based essay, 30 minutes on verbal reasoning and 45 minutes on the quantitative section. You will not be allowed the use of calculators. The first ten minutes of your test are most crucial as the computer decides your skill level depending on your initial answers.
